I have been looking for a burgundy chunky knit sweater and saw a couple at Nordstrom but they were all pricy around $78. I didn’t want to spend that much. So when I came across this one I snagged it! It’s so comfy, soft, and warm! I love it paired with this plain white tee, easy, casual and comfortable all around! I literally can’t stop wearing hats in the fall! It’s such an easy way to hide dirty hair and sometimes just adds a little something to an otherwise “basic” outfit.
Thanks for reading have a lovely day!
P.S. Happy Veteran’s Day to all those who have served our country to bravely! Thank you for making America great!

So there is currently 4 inches of snow on the ground and I am in denial. We took these blog pics last week and I can’t believe it was 60’s and so nice out just 2 days ago!! Gah! Chicago spring is the worst like that. It’s supposed to warm up mid week so I hope that happens soon!
These are my new favorite jeans for spring. They are fitted where they need to be but relaxed past the knee for a comfier more casual feel. I keep pairing this jacket with everything! It goes with so much and is the perfect spring layer (when there is no snow on the ground). Add a light gauzy scarf to finish the look and you’re set!

Look at the sun sparkling on my sunglasses! 🙂

I sincerely apologize for how bright these photos are! It was SO sunny when we took them and obviously the very light colored outfit reflected the sun like crazy. I really need to invest in photoshop & learn how to use it!
This pencil skirt is a great basic! It is super affordable, comfy, and light. Perfect for summer. It comes in a ton of colors too. I have it in 2 others as well. It’s funny because I was just recommending this skirt to Kevin’s cousin the other day, hi Laura! This lace top is perfect to pair with high waisted anything (especially a skirt) unless you are into crop tops (which I am NOT, definitely do not have the bod for them post baby). The eyelash lace is so beautiful on it and you will not believe the price. It is see through so I am wearing a nude color cami underneath. I bought these wedges 5 years ago at Marshalls! They are easily the most worn heels in my closet. They are so comfortable and the nude color pairs well with everything. The ones I linked are by the same brand and very similar. I highly recommend them! They can be dressed up or down which is what’s so great about them.
Kevin gave me this Kate Spade watch for my birthday! I was so surprised because he remembered it from one of my Valentine’s Day blog posts. I love how dainty the band it! It feels so feminine and very me. He did really well & even got Isla to sign the card 😉
OH BTW Nordstrom is having Triple points right now on all purchases made with your Nordstrom card! If you shop at Nordstrom a lot (like me) you need to get their credit card. You earn points towards Nordstrom Notes which are basically gift certificates! Their triple points event ends March 22nd. Click HERE to find out more!
