fall floral

floral dress (now available in grey & burgundy) | flats | bag | sunnies

You might remember this dress from a post I did in spring. But I just love it and wanted to show you how it can work transitioning into fall as well! The colors in it are so pretty and it comes in an awesome grey that would work for both seasons as well! I love the little peplum ruffle hem detail. And these flats are less than $25. And they’re awesome. They also come in black and highly recommend!

Hope everyone is having a good Monday! We need some sun!

candle warmer | candle (last year bath & body works) | mini pumpkin candles | owls | hello fall sign (Target dollar spot find) | Lantern (homegoods)

I posted this pic on instagram but I know I have a few readers that don’t use IG so I’ll share again. 99% of the time when I burn a candle I don’t burn it at all. I use a candle warmer. It plugs into the wall, you place your candle on it and it warms the wax until it melts. It fills your home so much more with the scent than traditional burning! It also makes your candles last much much longer. Like almost indefinitely. I “warmed” this exact candle all last season and it is practically still brand new. It is also much safer than having an open flame around a crazy toddler! The candle warmer can also double as a coffee warmer to keep your coffee, hot chocolate, or tea nice and hot! Which is perfect for the colder temps that will soon be upon us! This is my exact warmer. Let me know if you get one and how you like it!

Obsessed with “reading” on her belly. She finds all sorts of little spots to lay down and read haha

Last weekend we went apple picking! Someone was much more interested in the tasting part…

Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry about the lack of posts. It has been kind of slow getting into the groove this week! Working on a few little decor updates in our family room too.

Oh P.S. has anyone tried the new Toasted Graham Latte (TGL) from Starbucks? It’s soo good. I’ve never been super obsessed with the PSL like everyone else and this is right up my alley!

Thanks for stopping by!

lace + olive

pencil skirt (similar here & here) || lace top, old (similar here & here) || mules || bag (sold out similar here & here) || earrings || link bracelet || sparkle bracelet || pearl spike bracelet

This is the look I wore to my sweet niece Maggie’s baptism yesterday. Kevin and I were both honored to be named her godparents which was so special to us. I love olive green this time of year (as you can see from previous posts), but wanted to dress it up and make it a little more girly for the occasion. This lace top was the perfect addition. Although it’s sold out I linked some similar options that are just as budget friendly as mine was. And here we go again with these mules! They’re so dang versatile.

Hope you have a good week! Thanks for reading.

Plaid shirt dress

plaid shirt dress (also comes in blue) || OTK boots (perfect heel height!) || studded tote || belt || sunnies real version & my dupes || watch || spike pearl cuff || stretch bracelet  (reversible)|| earrings (can’t stop wearing these!)

Pretty sure I’ll be in this dress all the time until the temps really start to drop. I love that it has a fall vibe with the wine color & plaid (I told you I was obsessed!) but is still comfortable for those in between days because of the short sleeves. It’s also great because it’s a bit longer in the front and definitely longer in the back. This is great when you’re chasing a toddler around for more coverage! This bag has pretty much become my new diaper bag. I just love it so much! I was sick of toting around a big heavy diaper bag and never using half the junk in it. I’m trying a simpler approach and so far really like it. I just keep the essentials in it, a few diapers, travel pack of wipes, snacks, a pacifier, a small toy, a bow/clip for Isla’s hair and that’s pretty much it! I love this bag because of the price point, color, and size. It is the perfect size tote! Not too big or small.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Thanks for reading!

stripey swing top

olive skinnies, great price | striped swing top (runs big, wearing size small) | wedges (other nude options here & here) | bag | watch | earrings | spike bracelet | crystal bracelet | fitbit bracelet | Karen Walker sunnies (my version that are only $10 here)

This outfit feels perfectly transitional to me. Summer meets fall with a nautical vibe from the swingy tank yet distressed olive skinnies are distinctly fall. I love pairing stripes and olive. It’s just easy and always works!

Old Navy is killing it right now with Fall clothes! I just got Isla’s entire fall wardrobe from there and everything is SO cute. I just picked up this jean jacket for myself. I’ve been needing a new one and the price can’t be beat!

I’m starting to round up some awesome Labor Day sales for you coming this week and weekend! Stay tuned! Thanks for stopping by!

Midi dress

midi dress | wedges | bag | sunnies | bracelets here & here | bezels and bytes fitbit bracelet | earrings

I snagged this dress during Nordstrom’s half yearly sale along with a few other cute finds. I love the colors and the shape, it’s so fun and different! Pairing it with neutral cognac accessories keeps the emphasis on the dress. I’m really into light and flowy pieces for summer and as the temps begin to rise that’s exactly what I reach for! I’m hoping many pool days are in my future.

In other news Isla is so close to walking. She can go from sitting to standing on her own and stand for like 5 seconds but then gets nervous and sits back down and crawls away. I know it’s just a matter of time. She is growing and learning so much every single day. Yesterday morning on our run the stroller went over a big bump in the sidewalk and I said “woooahh!!” she mimicked me and said “woah!” it was so cute. She also tries to mimick when we whistle and actually did whistle in one attempt! It’s the little moments like that that make me so so grateful to be a stay at home mom. Wouldn’t trade my job for anything!

Hope everyone has an excellent hump day!

Summery chambray

white denim (great price & so comfy!) | chambray top  (similar here)| wedges | clutch | necklace | watch | renengade cluster | druzy bracelet

I am lovinggg white & chambray right now! It’s a fun opposite take on the typical jeans and a white tee. This is the perfect short sleeve chambray. The quality is amazing for the price. It’s currently sold out but if you like it definitely get on the waitlist. I linked a similar one that is cute too! These white jeans are PERFECT. They have a lower rise so great for the front tuck, stretchy enough to be comfy but not lose their shape, and crisp white! They can easily be dressed up or down which is perfect for summer and for those who aren’t into distressed details. And if you can’t tell this is my favorite necklace from the summer line. It can be worn 3 ways but I prefer it with all the pieces attached like this! I LOVE how it dresses up a simple tee, it’s a little edgy too, but gorgeous!

Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday. It wasn’t nice weather AT ALL over the weekend so we didn’t shoot any outfits, and I took the day off. 🙂 I hope you all had a nice Mother’s Day weekend! I enjoyed sleeping in both mornings! Which in and of itself was a treat. I also got a sweet homemade card from Kevin & Isla, and a fitbit, which I had been wanting! I’m super interested to know how much I move throughout the day and how much more I need to do to hit 10,000 steps. Do you have a fitbit? Do you like it?

Thanks for reading, have a great day!
