Sherling vest

denim (similar) | top (so comfy) | | booties | bag | sunnies (real thing here) | earrings

Oh my goodness, this vest! It is soo ridiculously soft and I find myself wanting to wear it with literally everything. It also comes in a tan color which is linked. I don’t know why but it wouldn’t let me link the black. But this is such a simple outfit with a key special piece, the vest. You can pair it with so many different looks too. All black, over a dress, top and skirt, etc. So many possibilities.

Hope your Monday is off to a good start and you had a nice weekend! 🙂

P.S. If you’re looking to get some Holiday shopping done early I have an online trunk show open now. You can click HERE to shop! The earrings I’m wearing are gorgeous for the Holidays!!

I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! This week just got away from me! It seems as though we’re finally having some fall weather. I can’t complain, I love October! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and now that Isla can walk this year we will do some real trick or treating which will be fun!

Hope you have a great day!

candle warmer | candle (last year bath & body works) | mini pumpkin candles | owls | hello fall sign (Target dollar spot find) | Lantern (homegoods)

I posted this pic on instagram but I know I have a few readers that don’t use IG so I’ll share again. 99% of the time when I burn a candle I don’t burn it at all. I use a candle warmer. It plugs into the wall, you place your candle on it and it warms the wax until it melts. It fills your home so much more with the scent than traditional burning! It also makes your candles last much much longer. Like almost indefinitely. I “warmed” this exact candle all last season and it is practically still brand new. It is also much safer than having an open flame around a crazy toddler! The candle warmer can also double as a coffee warmer to keep your coffee, hot chocolate, or tea nice and hot! Which is perfect for the colder temps that will soon be upon us! This is my exact warmer. Let me know if you get one and how you like it!

Obsessed with “reading” on her belly. She finds all sorts of little spots to lay down and read haha

Last weekend we went apple picking! Someone was much more interested in the tasting part…

Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry about the lack of posts. It has been kind of slow getting into the groove this week! Working on a few little decor updates in our family room too.

Oh P.S. has anyone tried the new Toasted Graham Latte (TGL) from Starbucks? It’s soo good. I’ve never been super obsessed with the PSL like everyone else and this is right up my alley!

Thanks for stopping by!

lace + olive

pencil skirt (similar here & here) || lace top, old (similar here & here) || mules || bag (sold out similar here & here) || earrings || link bracelet || sparkle bracelet || pearl spike bracelet

This is the look I wore to my sweet niece Maggie’s baptism yesterday. Kevin and I were both honored to be named her godparents which was so special to us. I love olive green this time of year (as you can see from previous posts), but wanted to dress it up and make it a little more girly for the occasion. This lace top was the perfect addition. Although it’s sold out I linked some similar options that are just as budget friendly as mine was. And here we go again with these mules! They’re so dang versatile.

Hope you have a good week! Thanks for reading.

drapey leather jacket

skinnies (old, very similar) | white mixed media blouse (so comfy!) | mixed media leather jacket | lace up flats ($45!) | studded tote | prada sunglasses real here my dupes here

I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep this jacket from the Anniversary sale but I’m glad I did. It’s a really great casual and comfortable faux leather jacket. It’s vegan material and feels so real. I really like the draping in the front, it feels effortless. Also these flats. Lace up flats are the ‘it’ shoe of the season for sure. They’re chic and comfy. Many are priced at $300+ but mine are only $45 and also come in red and leopard! They only come in whole sizes and I think they run a bit small so size up. I’ve already gotten multiple compliments on them when I’ve worn them out and about.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy hump day!

Plaid shirt dress

plaid shirt dress (also comes in blue) || OTK boots (perfect heel height!) || studded tote || belt || sunnies real version & my dupes || watch || spike pearl cuff || stretch bracelet  (reversible)|| earrings (can’t stop wearing these!)

Pretty sure I’ll be in this dress all the time until the temps really start to drop. I love that it has a fall vibe with the wine color & plaid (I told you I was obsessed!) but is still comfortable for those in between days because of the short sleeves. It’s also great because it’s a bit longer in the front and definitely longer in the back. This is great when you’re chasing a toddler around for more coverage! This bag has pretty much become my new diaper bag. I just love it so much! I was sick of toting around a big heavy diaper bag and never using half the junk in it. I’m trying a simpler approach and so far really like it. I just keep the essentials in it, a few diapers, travel pack of wipes, snacks, a pacifier, a small toy, a bow/clip for Isla’s hair and that’s pretty much it! I love this bag because of the price point, color, and size. It is the perfect size tote! Not too big or small.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Thanks for reading!

Holding onto summer

Baby photobomb!

dress (on sale & obsessed with the fit, I also bought it in black!) | wedges | floppy hat (only $15!) | studded bag | necklace | eden cuff | chevron bangle | spiked pearl cuff | sunnies $10 (real deal here)

Can you believe there are some leaves on the ground already?! There was a distinct chill in the air too! Guess it’s time to go shopping for some fall candles!! Can’t say I’m mad!

Today I’m sharing with you a great dress that can be worn 3 out of the 4 seasons. I wore the dress and wedges to a rehearsal dinner on Friday. It’s a great summer shift but in the fall could be paired with booties and a leather jacket and be just as cute! I love the colors in it and it pairs well with so many things. I’m starting to think I have an oxblood obsession. The last 4 items I’ve purchased have had this color in them! This studded bag for less than $23 and this floppy hat for only $15! It’s just so gorgeous for the cooler months and goes so well with pretty much my entire fall/winter wardrobe.

Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a super relaxing weekend! 🙂

P.s. Can you believe it’s been 14 years since 9/11? So crazy how time flies. Be sure to say an extra prayer today for all those people who are still suffering the loss of their loved one.
