I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! This week just got away from me! It seems as though we’re finally having some fall weather. I can’t complain, I love October! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and now that Isla can walk this year we will do some real trick or treating which will be fun!

Hope you have a great day!

candle warmer | candle (last year bath & body works) | mini pumpkin candles | owls | hello fall sign (Target dollar spot find) | Lantern (homegoods)

I posted this pic on instagram but I know I have a few readers that don’t use IG so I’ll share again. 99% of the time when I burn a candle I don’t burn it at all. I use a candle warmer. It plugs into the wall, you place your candle on it and it warms the wax until it melts. It fills your home so much more with the scent than traditional burning! It also makes your candles last much much longer. Like almost indefinitely. I “warmed” this exact candle all last season and it is practically still brand new. It is also much safer than having an open flame around a crazy toddler! The candle warmer can also double as a coffee warmer to keep your coffee, hot chocolate, or tea nice and hot! Which is perfect for the colder temps that will soon be upon us! This is my exact warmer. Let me know if you get one and how you like it!

Obsessed with “reading” on her belly. She finds all sorts of little spots to lay down and read haha

Last weekend we went apple picking! Someone was much more interested in the tasting part…

Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry about the lack of posts. It has been kind of slow getting into the groove this week! Working on a few little decor updates in our family room too.

Oh P.S. has anyone tried the new Toasted Graham Latte (TGL) from Starbucks? It’s soo good. I’ve never been super obsessed with the PSL like everyone else and this is right up my alley!

Thanks for stopping by!

casual comfy

distressed denim (similar here & here) | top | studded espadrilles ($30!) | studded tote | necklace | aviators

I wore this running around town on Saturday with my little fam. On the weekends when we’re just hanging out I like to keep things easy and casual. It ended up being pretty warm in the sun too so I was glad I just threw my hair up in a messy bun with a quick braid. This top is a basic that’s comfy and easy to just throw on with jeans or a skirt. I love the brand too and have many tops by them.

It’s almost Friday! This week has flown by. Thanks for reading!

Fall kicks

OB-fall shoes

 { 1  }{  2  }{  3  }{  4  }{  5  }{  6  }{  7  }{  8  }

Here is a little fall shoe guide to kick off your Tuesday! I have numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 and love them all. They’re all super budget friendly with the most expensive at $55 and the cheapest at $25. I love a good mix of heels and flats for everyday and special occasions. All of them except number 4 come in one or more other colors as well! If you have questions about fit or comfort just ask in the comments and I would be happy to help!

Have a great day!

lace + olive

pencil skirt (similar here & here) || lace top, old (similar here & here) || mules || bag (sold out similar here & here) || earrings || link bracelet || sparkle bracelet || pearl spike bracelet

This is the look I wore to my sweet niece Maggie’s baptism yesterday. Kevin and I were both honored to be named her godparents which was so special to us. I love olive green this time of year (as you can see from previous posts), but wanted to dress it up and make it a little more girly for the occasion. This lace top was the perfect addition. Although it’s sold out I linked some similar options that are just as budget friendly as mine was. And here we go again with these mules! They’re so dang versatile.

Hope you have a good week! Thanks for reading.

classic combo

ripped olive skinnies | white shirt (so soft & LOVE the fit) | studded tote | mules (also come in black, dupe for these) | aviators | earrings | watch | pearl spike bracelet | stretchy bracelet

This has got to be one of my favorite outfits ever. I just love olive with a crisp white shirt and this one is ahmazing. It’s slightly oversized which I love, because for me that means no gaping buttons! I have that problem with many button up shirts and often times have to size up to leave enough room in the chest which can be annoying!

Anyway I am also obsessed with these mules. Quick story. I originally had lusted after the Vince Allison mules but at $400 there was just no way I was going to pull the trigger. THEN they went on sale for $177! I nabbed the last pair that just happened to be in my size from Neiman’s and was SO excited about them. Well when I got them they were a huge disappointment. Not only were they stiff, uncomfortable and super narrow at the toes but the wooden heel was scratched in multiple places on both shoes. Wahhh. I was sad, but they had to go back. Fast forward about 2 weeks later I found THESE! When they arrived I knew the other ones didn’t work out for a reason. Funny how that happens sometimes. They’re way more comfortable and much easier on your wallet but you get the exact same look. I seriously love them! They come in black too and I just might have to get them 🙂 So long story short, they’re amazing! Also I can’t seem to carry any other bag recently. This one is just my favorite right now! And at $47 it’s a steal. I promise to change it up soon. Sorry for the long winded post. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Happy Friyay!

drapey leather jacket

skinnies (old, very similar) | white mixed media blouse (so comfy!) | mixed media leather jacket | lace up flats ($45!) | studded tote | prada sunglasses real here my dupes here

I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep this jacket from the Anniversary sale but I’m glad I did. It’s a really great casual and comfortable faux leather jacket. It’s vegan material and feels so real. I really like the draping in the front, it feels effortless. Also these flats. Lace up flats are the ‘it’ shoe of the season for sure. They’re chic and comfy. Many are priced at $300+ but mine are only $45 and also come in red and leopard! They only come in whole sizes and I think they run a bit small so size up. I’ve already gotten multiple compliments on them when I’ve worn them out and about.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy hump day!
