I hope y’all had a fabulous and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend! If you followed along with my other (very neglected) blog, Home on Garden Ct, you have seen some of the transformation of our home. The last time I updated there the decor wasn’t ‘done’. And it’s not done now. Is it ever really done? I still have some things to hang on the walls and other little odds and ends to finish up. Today I’m sharing with you the first floor of our house as it is today. It feels much more like home now. We haven’t put up our Christmas decorations yet, but I’m itching to!
We added this little hallway mudroom on after the reno was complete.
If we hadn’t, our garage walked right into the family room, which we didn’t like. We needed a catchall.

I want to add a long horizontal mirror to the opposite wall.

This is the view from the mudroom off the garage
Similar green chairs here I actually like these ones better!
Keeping it real with all the toys haha.
Mirrors and pillows from Homegoods
Gray couch is the Henry sectional from West Elm
A simpler navy rug I like a lot more than mine here
Table and chairs from World Market
White and gray stools here

Sorry the lighting is so dark in this one
Love that wine fridge! And I love wine!
All our appliances are frigidaire.
The door on the right goes to our basement.
View of dining room from the front door entry. I have a cool map print I’ve been meaning to frame and put above the buffet for 2 years now! Rue photobombing.

Ugh I hate that ugly mat, needs to be replaced ASAP!

There you have our first floor. I truly love our home. Next up will be our second floor, then the basement! More to come soon, I hope you enjoyed this post. Any other specific questions please leave me a comment, or just say hi, I love getting comments! 🙂
